Precision adjustments with the Blade interface.

Precision in Your Hands

The Develop Module is where Fovea transitions from selection to artistry. It is centered around the Floating Blade Panel.

The Detachable Blade

Unlike traditional sidebar-locked tools, Fovea’s right-hand adjustment panel is a floating “Blade.”

  • Undocking: Click the undock icon to detach the panel and move it anywhere on your screen. This is particularly useful for dual-screen setups or for moving the controls closer to your subject’s face while editing.
  • Docking: Simply drag the panel back to the right edge to snap it into place.

Adjustment Panels

The Blade is divided into surgical categories:

  1. Light: Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Whites, Blacks.
  2. Color: Temp/Tint, Vibrance, Saturation, and a full HSL Mixer.
  3. Tone Curve: Precise control over the luminance of your image.
  4. Masking: Tools for Brush, Linear, and Radial adjustments.
  5. Film Lab: Our advanced analog color engine.

Pro Handling

  • Double-Click Reset: Double-click any slider (on the handle) to instantly return its value to zero/default.
  • Incremental Control: Our sliders use active haptic-style visual feedback. The further you drag, the more precise the adjustment becomes as it reaches the perfect value.
