License Activation

How to activate Fovea with your Lemon Squeezy license key.

Activating Fovea

When you first launch Fovea, you’ll see the Activation Screen. This is where you enter the license key from your purchase.

Steps

  1. Purchase Fovea at get-fovea.app/pricing. You’ll receive a license key in your confirmation email.
  2. Open Fovea — the Activation screen appears automatically.
  3. Paste your license key into the text field (format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
  4. Click “Activate” — Fovea validates the key with our licensing server.
  5. Once verified, your license is stored securely in the macOS Keychain. You won’t need to enter it again.

Troubleshooting

  • “Invalid key” error — Double-check you’ve copied the full key from your email. Make sure there are no extra spaces.
  • No internet — Fovea requires a one-time internet connection to validate your key. After activation, no internet is needed.
  • Activation limit reached — Each license allows activation on up to 2 Macs. If you’ve exceeded this, deactivate an old device or contact support.

Buy a License

If you don’t have a license key yet, click the “Buy a License” link in the Activation screen — it will open the Fovea website where you can purchase a plan.
