OmniChannel Multi-Crop Preview
Visualize your photos in multiple aspect ratios for social media, web, and print.
OmniChannel Multi-Crop Preview
OmniChannel lets you preview your photos in multiple aspect ratios simultaneously — so you can see how an image will look on Instagram, a website banner, or a print before you commit.
Opening OmniChannel
- Press
⌘ Oto toggle OmniChannel mode, or click the rectangle.3.group icon in the Loupe toolbar. - A control panel appears on the side with available crop presets.
Built-In Presets
Fovea comes with standard crop presets for common platforms and print sizes. Select a preset from the pill list to see your image cropped to that ratio.
- Click “Original” to return to the uncropped, full-frame view.
- The active preset is highlighted with an accent color.
Custom Presets
Click the ”+ Custom” button at the bottom of the preset list to create your own aspect ratio:
- Enter a name (e.g., “LinkedIn Banner”)
- Set the width and height ratio
- The new preset appears in your list and persists across sessions
Subject-Aware Cropping
When OmniChannel is active, toggle the person.crop.circle icon to enable Subject-Aware Cropping. This uses AI to detect the main subject and automatically center the crop on them — especially useful for portrait-focused social media crops.
