Checking fine details across multiple images usually requires constant zooming and panning. The Close-Ups Panel eliminates this friction by extracting relevant sections of your images into a structured list.

Surgical Detail

When you select an image, the Close-Ups Panel instantly identifies and displays key areas of interest:

  • Face Mode: Automatically extracts faces from group shots or portraits, perfect for verifying expressions or blinks.
  • Subject Mode: Focuses on the primary subject of the frame (pets, objects, or architectural details).

Assessment Rings

To speed up your workflow, Fovea provides a colored focus ring around each crop:

  • 🟢 Green (Tack Sharp): The AI has identified high-confidence focus and open eyes.
  • 🟡 Yellow (Acceptable): The focus is acceptable but might be soft.
  • 🔴 Red (Check Focus): The area may be out of focus or eyes may be closed.

Integration

The Close-Ups Panel stays synced with your selection. As you move through your gallery, the crops update instantly, allowing you to cull with “Full-Frame Context” while seeing “Macro Detail” simultaneously.
