Updating Fovea

We are constantly refining Fovea with performance improvements, bug fixes, and new features. To ensure you have the best experience, we recommend keeping your app up to date.

How to Check for Updates

Fovea includes a built-in update mechanism that makes staying current simple.

1. Open Fovea: Ensure the application is active.
2. Access the Menu: In the macOS top toolbar, click on the Fovea menu.
3. Check for Updates: Select Check for Updates… from the dropdown.

If a new version is available, Fovea will show you the release notes and provide a button to download and install the update automatically.

Update Frequency

• Stable Releases: Typically released every few weeks, these contain the most polished features and improvements.
• Alpha/Beta Features: Occasionally, we release “Alpha” access to major new tools (like Auto Cull). These are available in the standard stable build but are marked to indicate they are still in active refinement.

Having Trouble?

If the built-in updater fails for any reason, you can always download the latest version directly from your original purchase link or by visiting our pricing page to download the trial installer again. Your license will remain active on your machine.
